Ralph Dunagin and Dana Summers' "The Middletons" pokes gentle fun at the realities and absurdities of middle-class America. The cast of characters features Morris and Midge Middleton, an archetypical suburban family and their next-door neighbors, the Wades, an upwardly mobile African-American family. You'll also meet Bumper, the Middletons' world-weary bulldog, and fiesty Grandma Middleton, both of whom have barks worse than their bites.
